Computer Desk

OK, my fiance bought me a computer desk last year for Christmas. He is so proud of it, and I could never have the heart to just get rid of it…but it is u-g-l-y! It is black metal with a glass top…and the apartment is decorated sort of beach-cottage! Is there ANYTHING that I could do to sort of…makeover the desk?

I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment in California, and I want to move to North Carolina. I don’t own much, just a 50" TV, a queen-sized bed, a couch, computer desk, and TV stand. How can I ship these to North Carolina? How much would it cost? Would it be more cost effective to just sell all my stuff on craigslist, and then buy new stuff when I am in North Carolina?

I need to view the time for various cities /time zones around the world at a glance.

I’m playing a game on my computer that requires patience, so I need something to keep me busy.

I do listen to music, all the time.
Any Ideas?

plastic maybe or i once found this material that came in a lot of colors it was not felt more of a smoother texture i guess you could say in the crafts section but i don’t remember what it was called, nothing like sheets something that doesn’t "stick" but kind of stays like magnetic or something. suggestions + does anybody know what that material is i was talking about please help thank you

I’m having trouble putting together my L shaped glass top computer desk. It didn’t come with directions because i brought it from a yard sale. please help.

I just bought a new lap top in replace of my older desk top and now I don’t know what to do with my computer since I have no use for it anymore. Is there anywhere that will buy my computer?

We are always busy at our computer desk finishing our work and such no? And of course once we get the chance we exercise. SO.

This is a serious question, by the way…she has a bowl of water, so why does she insist on knocking mine over? Is it possible that she is insisting I drink from the same bowl as her? Gosh darn her.

I noticed that the keyboard at work is much easier to type a paper in then my home keyboard. i think the keys just have a better feeling, it’s kinda weird to explain but anyways what are some things that I should look for in a new keyboard. I have anew semester of college coming up so that means alot of typing papers!

Well I had my laptop on the computer desk we use for my desktop, and thought it’d be fine because I used to put my laptop on my old desk. Well our new desk is a cheap piece of crap (seriously, it is) and the my laptop put pretty bad scratches on it. How can I remove the scratches?
I think the desk is made of wood, but not entirely sure. And it’s black.

I am looking for the RS To•Go™ Tradina All-In-One Computer Desk but the one on officedepot.com is out of stock in our area and i’m already waiting for a new shipment. I’ve looked for other places that sell it but it all leads back to the Office Depot home page. Does anyone know another website where I can buy it?

I have a new Vostro 1400 laptop with 2 batteries for backup when traveling, but I use it for my home computer too. I’ve been keeping a battery in it, but also using the charger plug-in. Is this bad for the battery? Should I take out the battery when I use house power or take out the charger plug-in until the Dell warns me that the battery is low?

My remote keyboard for my desk top computer does not function.(1) How can i get it to workagain? +(2) could I use a USB key board ?

I’m saving up for a Dell Laptop and hoping to find a best computer desk that doesn’t cost a lot. Where would I find a Dell Laptop and a computer desk? Where would you suggest finding them? I dont really trust buying online.

I have a desktop computer that I’d liek to set up in my new apartment but just for security and safety, I was wondering if there is some kind of stick on tether that I can attach to the computer and the desk?
